A mission includes a purpose towards collective change.

Not just a mediocre change. A monumental change. One that includes more than just a few beneficiaries. The purpose of a mission is important, it is the goal, but it is not what is most important.

What’s most important is the change you create for the people you want the mission to affect. Most people forget this part. They focus on the how, why and what. And almost always forget the who.

Engaging the who is where we do the work. It requires the most energy, it requires connecting with the people, which is why so many leave this part out.

But you’re not most people. You’re ready to do the real work, am I right?
